Grace's Flower Farm

Grace's Flower Farm is a speciality flower grower and florist providing locally grown flowers to the Eastern Sierra. We focus on producing the freshest local blooms while also nourishing the soil, protecting pollinators, and eliminating artificial monoculture habitats. We never use pesticides and feed our flowers only with organic fertilizer.
Our flowers are harvested at their peak — often only a day or two before they arrive in your home. This allows you to enjoy our blooms for the longest time possible, while also knowing that you're shopping local, supporting a small business, and making an environmentally-friendly choice.

Straight from the field
Dried Flowers
We dry many of our fresh blooms and use them to create long-lasting dried flower crafts. We're always dreaming up new creations, but our favorites include wreaths, magnets, picture frames, and hairclips.
Bouquet Subscriptions
Two annual subscriptions — spring starting in mid-April and summer starting in mid-July. For four weeks, you'll receive a weekly delivery filled with the best seasonal flowers. A great gift for the flower lovers in your life.
Meet your farmer
Grace has been growing flowers in Bishop for many years. She's always looking for an excuse to squeeze another flower bed into the farm. She's assisted by her cats Skittles and Starburst, who guard the farm from gophers, and Fiona the Corgi, whose primary skill is trampling newly planted seedlings.

I’m glad you asked! This is such an important issue.
Approximately 80% of the cut flowers sold in the US are imported from South America or the Netherlands. These flowers are often grown on factory farms in conditions highly conducive to disease and therefore are sprayed with all sorts of pesticides, fungicides, and other chemicals. The carbon footprint of imported flowers is also huge. Because cut flowers are highly perishable, they have to be flown to a local distribution point, and air travel produces about 50-150 times the carbon emissions of a cargo ship. Not to mention that, by the time imported flowers get to you, they’re probably about a week old.
Local flowers, on the other hand, are grown in the same community where they’re ultimately sold. They’re cared for by individual farmers who oversee their entire life cycle from seed to harvest. And at Grace’s Flower Farm, we never use pesticides or other harsh chemicals. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful flowers, but also to nourish the soil, protect pollinators, and care for the earth so that we can keep our little farm thriving for many years to come. So when you bury your nose in a bouquet you bought from us, you can be confident that you’re inhaling only the scent of our flowers, not mystery chemicals.
We attend lots of farmers markets throughout the Eastern Sierra, from June Lake to Benton to Bishop to Mammoth. The best way to learn about our market schedule is to keep an eye on our Instagram. You can also order flowers at any time via our online store. But I still recommend that you come visit us at an in-person market! We often bring special items that you won’t find online, and I love talking to customers about flowers.
We offer delivery on orders over $35 anywhere from Wilkerson to Mustang Mesa. Our delivery fee is only $5, and our typical delivery window is two business days from the date of your order, but if you need quicker delivery, give us a call. We can often accommodate that. If you’re looking for delivery to Mammoth, please reach out. We’re frequently headed that way and can probably add your delivery to our trip.
Yes, we love bringing your floral visions to life. Whether it’s a baby shower, wedding, birthday party or something else, we’d be honored to be a part of your big day. We offer everything from full service florist services to loose flowers that you can DIY into your own unique arrangements.
We generally have early spring flowers, like tulips and narcissus, available around late March. The farm really hits its stride in mid-April when more spring flowers come into bloom, and we generally have flowers available through mid-October when our first killing frost hits.
We also offer dried flowers year round. We preserve all of our extra fresh flowers by air drying them and use them to create long lasting dried flower wreaths, hairpieces, crowns, and other items. Dried flowers make a great gift, particularly around the holidays when everyone needs a reminder of the warmer days to come!
